The Legacy Campaign

The Historic Palace Theatre building has contributed significantly to the history of culture on the prairies of Southwest Minnesota since 1915. In September 2007 several improvements were completed extending the theatre's useful life while preserving its significant historical character. Improvements included: tuck-pointing and replacing the exterior brick, adding a handi-cap accessible restroom on the main floor, replacing the seating and the carpet on the main floor, remodeling of the concession area and ticket window, providing state-of-the-art theatre rigging and lighting systems.

Palace Seats

A seat inside the newly renovated Historic Palace Theatre is waiting just for you! Our seat renovation program allows you to participate in the rejuvenation of our unique theatre and ensures you have a permanent place in our theatres' history. For a donation of $500 you will receive an engraved brass plaque, prominently affixed to one of our brand new seats.
