Council for Arts & Humanities in Rock County

The Council for Arts & Humanities in Rock County is a non-profit agency providing quality programs, educational opportunities, art displays and performances to support the arts and humanities in Rock County.

Rock County Historical Society

The RCHS preserves, maintains, and presents the history of Luverne and Rock County. A member of the Minnesota Historical Society, the RCHS operates three museums:

  • The Rock County Historical Museum, located at 123 North Freeman Avenue (Masonic Temple)
  • Hinkly House Museum, a renovated authentic Victorian home, located at 217 North Freeman Avenue.
  • The Fitzer Barn (Rock County Fairgrounds)
  • All buildings are located in Luverne, MN. Call RCHS for all your genealogical and historical research needs!


Rock County Fine Arts Association

The exhibits of Rock County Fine Arts Association are on display at the Carnegie Cultural Center located at 205 N. Freeman Ave. in Luverne. (507) 283-8294.

As a non-profit organization, CAHRC depends on generous donations and contributions in order to continue to provide quality programs, educational opportuities, art displays, etc. for Rock County. Donations are tax-deductable.
